October 14 Spanish Fort, AL. Rat Rods on the River to be held at the 5 Rivers Delta Resource Center, 30945 5 Rivers Blvd, Spanish Fort, AL 36527. A long awaited talked about sequel has finally arrived. This year we hope to have 8 rat rods, 8 photographers and 12 models. Anyone under the age of 18 must have a legal guardian present, all models will be required to sign a model release. Because 5 rivers will be posting information about the event, and any photographs we send them afterwards. A pre-signed model release also helps because we are currently in negotiation with a local race magazine to publish photographs taken at this event. Please keep in mind even though rat rods are the fantastically perfect automobile to wear anything from mad Max to evening gowns with pinup in between, members of the public may be enjoying the park for the day and some of our models may be under the age of 18 appropriate attire will be mandatory. Five rivers will not be charging us to host the event but a $10 donation, to the women’s shelter of Mobile will hold and guarantee your spot for that day.
