March 20-22, Pearl, MS. 37th Annual Dixie Rod Run a pre 49 Street Rod Only event. Still holding to TRADITION, the Mississippi Street Rod Association is keeping to the roots of our sport, and staying true to the OLD SCHOOL, ways. We’re Street Rodders and, we are keeping the Dixie Rod Run as the only pre 49 street rod event true for our fellow street rodders. This year’s show is in honor of the founder of our association Mr. Paul Rock Acey and all the efforts he has contributed to our club. This is our 4th year at our present location at Trustmark Park, home of the Mississippi Braves baseball club. Our host hotel is the Holiday Inn, area attractions are the Bass Pro Shop, Sam’s Club, a new Outlet Mall with many specialty shops, all of your favorite restaurants are within blocks of the event. The Dixie Rod Run will blast off at Trustmark Park on March 20th with registration starting at 2:00 pm., at 6:00 pm. The stadium will be filled with the aroma of a full BBQ supper for the early arriving entrants. The BEST BBQ pork, chicken and sausage you ever tasted, cooked up by Bald Man’s BBQ, on site, in addition there will be baked beans, cole slaw, potato salad, chips, decadent deserts, and drinks all served up to you by members of the Mississippi Street Rod Association, so bring your lawn chairs, or sit in the spacious stadium and enjoy. March 21st registration, continues, starting at 8:00 am., games for the adults and kids will start, driving games, swap meet, ladies tea, poker walk, a full day of fun for all.
