Cruisin Cajun Country
May 14-16 New Iberia, LA 17th Annual Cruisin’ Cajun Country. It’s going to be another great event. There will be lots to see and do with a full schedule of great places to visit. Wednesday The before party. Our early birds are invited to cruise over to either The Boiling Point Restaurant or Bon Creole. We will sit and enjoy a meal together. Dutch treat with a full menu of options. Registration and the Information desk will be open on Wednesday from 1:00 to 5:00 at Hampton Inn. Thursday Registration opens at the Hampton Inn. 8a-5p. Thursday, We will visit Iberia Parish- We will visit Jeanerette Mercantile, Legnon’s Engine Display, Blue Dog Farm Stand (NEW), NAPA Auto Parts (Serving lunch to registered guests), Bayou Teche Museum, and Quarter Tavern (NEW) Get your card stamped at all 6 and enter to win!! Thursday Evening-Club La Louisiane’ for a Cajun Fais Do-Do $15.00 admission includes a meal and live music. Advanced tickets are purchased at Registration. There will also be a 50/50 raffle and a cake walk. Door prizes. Lots of fun. Winner of the Card Stamping Game announced. Must be present to win Friday Registration is open at the Hampton Inn 8a-4p. We will travel to Vermilion Parish for a Poker Run. You will visit Maurice City Bar (NEW), NuNu’s (NEW), Musson Patout Ford (NEW) Serving lunch to registered guests and The BlackSmith Shop. Friday evening will be at Bouligny Plaza where we will have a live Jam Session (please bring your instruments to join in)There will be food trucks on site and other options from our Downtown merchants, Dutch treat. Winner of the poker run will be announced. Downtown merchants open late. Stop by to say hello, shop and register for drawings. Saturday Registration is open 8a-10:30a at Hampton Inn (NOTE NEW CLOSING TIME) We will have a poker run through beautiful Vermilion Parish. You will start with a “Cars and Coffee” Event at Musson Patout Automotive Superstore. Then cruise over to the Poker Stops and visit The Abbeville Downtown Farmers Market and Artisan Fair, The Train Depot Museum, Abbeville Cultural and History Museum and Art Gallery and The Acadian Museum in Erath. Saturday Night we will have a “Fais Do-Do” at the Hampton Inn where we will have food and music free for our Registered Guests (NOTE-Arm Band required to enter and BYOB) We will draw the winner of the Photo Scavenger Hunt, must be present to win!
