November 4 Foley, AL 5th Annual American Legion Post 99 Open Car Show, Saturday, November 4, 2023, 8AM to 2PM. At the American Legion Post 99, 2101 S Mckenzie St, Foley, AL. Mike’s American Muscle Cars will be MC and provide music and announcements for the show. The Cpl Joseph Whitehead Marine Corps League, Det #1370, will be collecting unwrapped new toys for the annual Toys for Tots! *For each new toy donation, we will give you one free door prize raffle ticket! The Foster L. Harrington Marine Corps League from Mobile will be our car show judges again. Registered car show participants will receive a free breakfast ‘biscuit and gravy’ breakfast meal (additional plates available for purchase). There will also be a 50/50 raffle and prize raffles- concluding with the awards ceremony… the awards will be 1st, 2nd, & 3rd Place, Commanders Choice, Rat Rod, and Mike’s American Muscle Cars Top Choice. But that’s not what this is all about- its about having a great day together and helping our servicemen and their families when they really need it!! Proceeds from this event go to special services of the American Legion benefiting veterans in need with items like: food, clothing, temporary housing, transportation- and many other services to support their livelihood. October 28, Fort Walton Beach, FL. 3rd Annual Cruisin’ The Beaches Car Show, Saturday, October 28, 2023. At the Northwest Florida Fair Grounds, 1958 Lewis Turner Blvd, Fort Walton Beach, FL. Vehicles may enter at 8AM. Spectators gates open at 10AM (we are asking for a $5 donation at the gate for SHP). Vehicle judging starts at 11AM, and the awards presentation is scheduled to start at 3PM. There are several different vehicle classes at this indoor/ outdoor event that there will be awards issued for including: Antique, Classic, and Modern Cars and Trucks, Jeeps, Rat Rods, Exotics, Motorcycle, Dirt-ike, and more!! This event is hosted by De’ France Antiques and is a charity event for Sleep in Heavenly Peace, FWB, who provides beds for the children of families in need. The cost of vehicle registration is $40 per vehicle if pre-registered, $60 the day of the show. $20 per motorcycle if pre-registered, $40 the day of the show. November 18 Waveland, MSFirst Annual Open Car/Truck/Jeep Show at the Waveland American Legion Post 77 on November 18th from 8 am – 3 pm at 503 Waveland Avenue. A $25 registration fee will be paid the day of registration from 8 am – Noon. Dash plaques will be given to the first 60 registered vehicles. Awards for the Top 40 cars, Top 5 trucks, 5 Specialty and 5 Jeep awards will be presented at 2 pm. There will be a 50/50 drawing, silent auction, music, and plenty of parking available. Food, desserts, beer and soft drinks will be available to purchase at the Post. You may bring your own canopies of come inside the post and enjoy the air conditioning building.
