May 8 Gulfport, MS Cruise to the Boyington Nursing Home. The Coast Cruizers will be doing a drive thru cruise-in to the Boyington, for the residents that are there. We will drive thru the drive and toss some beads to the residents. We have been asked to be there about 2pm. The residents will be on the side walk in their wheel chairs and walkers. We won't be stopping to visit because of covid. We will meet in the North parking lot at Milner football stadium on 15th street Gulfport, MS at 1:30 to 1:50 pm on May 8th. We will leave the parking lot and drive to the Boyington, it is about 5 blocks from the parking lot. If traffic allows, we might make 2 trips thru the drive. Everybody is invited to come to the cruise-in for the Boyington and make some lives a little better for that Saturday. If you have a cruising vehicle come on out for a ride. After the Boyington, there are a couple of cruise-in later that afternoon. The Misfits in Bay St Louis at the Hollywood casino and the Mustang Club at Edgewater Mall. If you have questions call me. Thursday Registration opens at the Ramada Conference Center. 8a-5p
Thursday, We will visit Avery Island and Jungle Gardens. Find out why New Iberia is the hottest place on earth. There will be lunch options available.
Thursday Evening-Landry's Seafood Buffet will be open for all registered guests. It's dutch treat with a full seafood buffet. There will be door prize drawings, must be present to win.
Friday Registration is open at the Ramada Conference Center 8a-5p.
We will travel East down Hwy 90 to either the Wedell-Williams Aviation Museum Patterson (41.9 miles), or go to the Grevemberg House in Franklin, LA (27.5 miles). Lunch option is at The Forest Restaurant in Franklin, LA. There is reserved seating for our guests and it's Dutch treat. Next travel to Historic Downtown Franklin where there will be a poker run around Main Street. Lots to see and do in Franklin. A full day for sure!!
Friday evening will be at Bouligny Plaza where we will have a DJ and plenty of food options from our Downtown merchants, Dutch treat.
Saturday Registration is open 8a-12p at Ramada
We will have a poker run through beautiful Iberia Parish. You will start with a "Cars and Coffee" Event at Musson Patout Automotive Superstore. Then cruise over to the Poker Stops and visit Mayor Freddie Decourt's Gas Station, Jefferson Island, Olivier Plantation Store and Konriko Rice Mill. There are also other places to see which are not Poker Stops but in the area. For example, Shadows on the Teche, Books Along the Teche, Victor's Cafeteria and The Bayou Teche Museum. Lunch option "Bon Creole" or "Cafe Jefferson"
Saturday Night we will have a "Fais Do-Do" at the Ramada Conference Center where we will have food and music for our Registered Guests

You just have to tell them you are coming for Cruisin Cajun Country and they will give you the discount. Please know that we are doing our best to bring you a great event with lots to see and do. We are keeping in mind that there are still some concerns about COVID-19. We have been very conscious of the health and safety of our guests, our venues, our club members and everyone involved. We have planned for things to be mostly outside with plenty of room to move around.

CANCELLED Richard Wiley “Hippie” Woods, age 66, of Gulfport, MS died Thursday, August 26, 2021 in Gulfport, MS. He was born March 12, 1955 and was a lifelong resident of the coast. Richard retired in 2019. Prior to retirement, he was a welding foreman and commercial truck driver. After retirement, he enjoyed his antique vehicles, fishing, working outdoors, traveling, and spending time with his family and friends. Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Wiley and Felicia Malley Woods, along with nine sisters. He is survived by his wife Sharon Woods; sons, Chade (Cassie) Woods, Dexter (Kelly) Woods, and Bradley Saucier; daughter, Tamara (Jason) Pearson; sisters, Barbara Jackson and Linda Clark; along with several grandchildren and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Saturday, September 4, 2021 from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, 15452 O’Neal Road, Gulfport, MS 39503, with a service beginning at 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, Richard’s wishes are for donations to be made to Sharon Woods.

The buildings will be secured at 6 PM daily. This will be strictly enforced by our staff. Please prepare for these hours and make plans accordingly. May 8 Gulfport, MS Cruise to the Boyington Nursing Home. The Coast Cruizers will be doing a drive thru cruise-in to the Boyington, for the residents that are there. We will drive thru the drive and toss some beads to the residents. We have been asked to be there about 2pm. The residents will be on the side walk in their wheel chairs and walkers. We won't be stopping to visit because of covid. We will meet in the North parking lot at Milner football stadium on 15th street Gulfport, MS at 1:30 to 1:50 pm on May 8th. We will leave the parking lot and drive to the Boyington, it is about 5 blocks from the parking lot. If traffic allows, we might make 2 trips thru the drive. Everybody is invited to come to the cruise-in for the Boyington and make some lives a little better for that Saturday. If you have a cruising vehicle come on out for a ride. After the Boyington, there are a couple of cruise-in later that afternoon. The Misfits in Bay St Louis at the Hollywood casino and the Mustang Club at Edgewater Mall. If you have questions call me. Thursday, We will visit Avery Island and Jungle Gardens. Find out why New Iberia is the hottest place on earth. There will be lunch options available.
Thursday Evening-Landry's Seafood Buffet will be open for all registered guests. It's dutch treat with a full seafood buffet. There will be door prize drawings, must be present to win.
Friday Registration is open at the Ramada Conference Center 8a-5p.
We will travel East down Hwy 90 to either the Wedell-Williams Aviation Museum Patterson (41.9 miles), or go to the Grevemberg House in Franklin, LA (27.5 miles). Lunch option is at The Forest Restaurant in Franklin, LA. There is reserved seating for our guests and it's Dutch treat. Next travel to Historic Downtown Franklin where there will be a poker run around Main Street. Lots to see and do in Franklin. A full day for sure!!
Friday evening will be at Bouligny Plaza where we will have a DJ and plenty of food options from our Downtown merchants, Dutch treat.
Saturday Registration is open 8a-12p at Ramada
We will have a poker run through beautiful Iberia Parish. You will start with a "Cars and Coffee" Event at Musson Patout Automotive Superstore. Then cruise over to the Poker Stops and visit Mayor Freddie Decourt's Gas Station, Jefferson Island, Olivier Plantation Store and Konriko Rice Mill. There are also other places to see which are not Poker Stops but in the area. For example, Shadows on the Teche, Books Along the Teche, Victor's Cafeteria and The Bayou Teche Museum. Lunch option "Bon Creole" or "Cafe Jefferson"
Saturday Night we will have a "Fais Do-Do" at the Ramada Conference Center where we will have food and music for our Registered Guests

You just have to tell them you are coming for Cruisin Cajun Country and they will give you the discount. Please know that we are doing our best to bring you a great event with lots to see and do. We are keeping in mind that there are still some concerns about COVID-19. We have been very conscious of the health and safety of our guests, our venues, our club members and everyone involved. We have planned for things to be mostly outside with plenty of room to move around.

CANCELLED Richard Wiley “Hippie” Woods, age 66, of Gulfport, MS died Thursday, August 26, 2021 in Gulfport, MS. He was born March 12, 1955 and was a lifelong resident of the coast. Richard retired in 2019. Prior to retirement, he was a welding foreman and commercial truck driver. After retirement, he enjoyed his antique vehicles, fishing, working outdoors, traveling, and spending time with his family and friends. Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Wiley and Felicia Malley Woods, along with nine sisters. He is survived by his wife Sharon Woods; sons, Chade (Cassie) Woods, Dexter (Kelly) Woods, and Bradley Saucier; daughter, Tamara (Jason) Pearson; sisters, Barbara Jackson and Linda Clark; along with several grandchildren and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Saturday, September 4, 2021 from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, 15452 O’Neal Road, Gulfport, MS 39503, with a service beginning at 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, Richard’s wishes are for donations to be made to Sharon Woods.

Tear Down for vendors inside the buildings can be at any time. But no vehicles will be allowed to enter the building or pull up to the doors of the building until 5:00 pm and you will have to be out by 6pm on Thursday-SATURDAY SUNDAY they will remain open until 9PM to allow vendors to pack up. The buildings will be secured at 6 PM daily. This will be strictly enforced by our staff. Please prepare for these hours and make plans accordingly. If you cannot abide by these rules then please make arrangements to be moved to an outside space.
A Reminder To Vendors, Concerning Parking Inside The Event Grounds, There Are Designated Vendor Parking Areas And Only These Areas Are To Be Used As Additional Parking Outside Your Vendor Space. This Is Required By Myself, And The City Of Moultrie, And In Keeping In Compliance With The Lease Agreement. All Other Grass Areas Are Prohibited Parking Areas.
