The 14th annual Wild Turkey Run Car and Truck Show is sponsored by St Francis Xavier Knights of Columbus (KC’s), Wiggins, MS. The show is held at the from 7 AM till 3 PM, Saturday November 22, 2014. Last year over 30 Sponsors donated oil changes, tune ups and car gear as drawing prizes. The show lives up to its theme as we have drawings from entries and raffles for Turkeys and other prizes throughout the show. A 50:50 drawing will be held at the conclusion of the event. The weather usually cooperates with a sunny and mild November day to enjoy the vehicles and visit with fellow gear heads. A DJ will be spinning oldies for the crowd. The show is open with awards for ’86 and older and ’87 and newer and Rat Rods. Dash plaques will be given to all entries. Breakfast, Lunch and Snacks will be available during the event. The Wiggins KC’s are a part of an international fraternity of 1.8 million Catholic men whose principle work involves helping others in need. The local council supports; the Retardation Center in Wiggins, the Marine Corps Toys for Tots program with supplemental clothing and food, teen soccer, tennis and baseball programs, travel expenses for youth leadership conferences, and holiday groceries for needy families. November 1st, the Mississippi Gulf Coast Corvette Club will be hosting its 21st annual all Corvette show at the Edgewater Mall on Beach Blvd in Biloxi. This show is our annual fund raiser and draws Corvettes from Texas to North Carolina. Proceeds from this show are used to fund local Gulf Coast charities, including the CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) program and St. Vincent de Paul Pharmacy, providing needy coast residents with prescription drugs. Car registration is $40, if you pre-register by October 15 your registration will include a show shirt, dash plaque and goodie bag. The show is free to all who would like to stop by and see the shiniest Corvettes on the Gulf Coast, so come on by and check us out. The 14th annual Wild Turkey Run Car and Truck Show is sponsored by St Francis Xavier Knights of Columbus (KC’s), Wiggins, MS. The show is held at the from 7 AM till 3 PM, Saturday November 22, 2014. Last year over 30 Sponsors donated oil changes, tune ups and car gear as drawing prizes. The show lives up to its theme as we have drawings from entries and raffles for Turkeys and other prizes throughout the show. A 50:50 drawing will be held at the conclusion of the event. The weather usually cooperates with a sunny and mild November day to enjoy the vehicles and visit with fellow gear heads. A DJ will be spinning oldies for the crowd. The show is open with awards for ’86 and older and ’87 and newer and Rat Rods. Dash plaques will be given to all entries. Breakfast, Lunch and Snacks will be available during the event. The Wiggins KC’s are a part of an international fraternity of 1.8 million Catholic men whose principle work involves helping others in need. The local council supports; the Retardation Center in Wiggins, the Marine Corps Toys for Tots program with supplemental clothing and food, teen soccer, tennis and baseball programs, travel expenses for youth leadership conferences, and holiday groceries for needy families.
