September 6-7 Wiggins, MS 13th Annual Red Creek Classic Antique Car Appreciation Picnic & Cruise-in 2024, will take place Friday September 6 and Saturday September 7th at Flint Creek Water Park, Wiggins, MS. Plans are ongoing but will include a ‘CRUSE-4-CASH’ making local business stamped stops and a Cruise-in Friday night. On Saturday you can ‘CRUSE-4-CASH’ making local business stamped stops, and the Car Club Appreciation Day Picnic. ALL Car Clubs and Independents are invited to attend – there will be hamburgers, hot dogs & cold drinks. (contributions and donations accepted). Sponsored in part by, Stone County Supervisors, City of Wiggins, Merchants of Stone County. October 25-26 Madison, MS Scarecrow Cruise & Car Show. Our 20th Year! Mississippi Classic Cruisers was formed in March of 2004, for the purpose of enjoying and sharing America’s favorite past time, the automobile. Additionally, we are an avid non-profit fundraiser providing financial support to local charities. We are in the City of Madison, MS. We are a 501(c)(4) Nonprofit organization. In 2023, our sponsors supported 3 local charities: 1. MadCAAP (Madison County Allied Against Poverty) 2. Hope Hollow (Special Needs Adults and Children) 3. Mississippi Air Guard, 172nd (Family Relief Fund) The annual Scarecrow Car Show and Cruise held each October in the City of Madison for 2 days is one of the largest shows in the South. This show consistently attracts 500 registered vehicles and provides weekend entertainment for over 15,000 spectators. Through generous sponsorships and proceeds from the show, MS Classic Cruisers have raised over $230,000 for our charities. With four hundred members, Mississippi Classic Cruisers are active participants of car show events across the state and thus are active contributors to the charitable recipients of each show. November 2, Foley, AL. 6th Annual American Legion Post 99 Open Car Show and Marine Corps League Toys for Tots “Fill the Truck” Toy Drive! The Car Show officially starts at 8:00AM- and should conclude by 2:00PM. Mike’s American Muscle Cars will be MC and provide music and announcements for the show. The Cpl Joseph Whitehead Marine Corps League, Det #1370, will be collecting unwrapped new toys for the annual Toys for Tots! This year we will be featuring our “Fill the Truck” Toys for Tots Event! We will have our 1960 Apache C10 on site to fill! *For each new toy donation, Mike will give you one free door prize raffle ticket! ALSO- we will have a special “Tailgate Bench” to auction off, as well as a LOT of really neat and desirable door prizes- and the 50/50 raffle!
Registered car show participants will receive a free breakfast ‘biscuit and gravy’ breakfast meal (additional plates available for purchase). There will also be a 50/50 raffle and prize raffles- concluding with the awards ceremony. As of this time, the expected awards will be 1st, 2nd, & 3rd Place, Commanders Choice, Rat Rod, Jeep, Bike, and Mike’s American Muscle Cars Top Choice. But that’s not what this is all about- its about having a great day together and helping our servicemen and their families when they really need it!!
Proceeds from this event go to special services of the American Legion benefiting veterans in need with items like: food, clothing, temporary housing, transportation- and many other services to support their livelihood.
